Sandra finished a successful run of Trying alongside J.T. Waite at the Majestic Theater. "Trying is a winner. From the moment of seeing the massive and realistic set to the final bows and standing ovation, this little play is a giant success. Based on the final year in the life of Judge Francis Biddle (a U.S. Attorney General and Nuremberg judge), the play is equally about the young woman who becomes his secretary. The characters change and grow through what becomes mutual admiration. While Sandra Blaney (the secretary) could have easily been a mere foil for Waite's Biddle, this young actress holds her own, and then some.
